We are looking for a fully office-based Office Manager to join the HR & Facilities Team in a busy mental health charity.
This is a three day a week role (21 hours). Our team manages our reception and admin office. We also maintain the building and provide support to our staff. The team consists of our HR Director, HR & Facilities Assistant, Web & Systems Analyst and admin volunteers. The Office Manager is key in that they will need to oversee the front of house and ensure that all visitors and staff receive a warm welcome – being assisted in a calm and understanding manner. In addition to the day to day running of the office you will also be expected to provide cover and answer the admin phone and inbox, answering any queries that come in, it will be your responsibility to keep the office running smoothly in partnership with the HR & Facilities Assistant. There will be supervision and training provided to continue your professional development. You’ll thrive in a forward-facing role in a very busy environment, have excellent organisational and communication skills and will enjoy being a key member of a small, friendly team. The ability to prioritise and manage a full and varied workload to deadlines is paramount and you’ll have a strong interest in working in a mental health charity.

The salary is within NJC scale points 19-22, starting at point 19 and rising by annual increment. The salary is point 19 is £35,224 (pro rata per annum). It includes our Inner London Weighting Allowance plus an auto-enrolled pension of 5% of salary. The role is based in our offices in the heart of Camden Town during standard office hours.
